Trying to a pre-order Apple's new iPad model yesterday was a recipe for carpal tunnel syndrome. Predictably, potential iPad customers hammered Apple's website yesterday afternoon and on into the evening, which meant repeatedly mashing your mouse button (or F5 key) to refresh timed out webpages throughout the ordering process.
