ROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) ? Authorities say a man has escaped from the Douglas County Jail in Roseburg. A sheriff's office spokesman says 32-year-old Thomas Grimes of Springfield was discovered missing from his cell Friday morning. Investigators are still trying to determine when and how he was able to escape. Grimes was being held on warrants charging him with possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless driving and other charges. Grimes is also being held on a warrant out of Lane County and a Lane County Parole Board hold.
