While in Birmingham, Ala., last month for SEC media days, I also visited Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss for upcoming feature stories this month. One thing I noticed is that the SEC schools are big on murals on the sides of their stadiums. Now, so is Kyle Field. I took the above picture this week while headed to practice of the East side of the stadium. 1957 Heisman Trophy winner John David Crow and 2010 Butkus Award winner Von Miller are larger than life ? and then some.
