Canada has denied actor Randy Quaid permanent resident status
The American actor Randy Quaid, who'd fled to Canada claiming "Hollywood star-whackers" in the U.S. were out to kill him, has been denied permanent resident status by his adopted country. However Quaid can appeal that denial to Canada's federal court.
