Love of classics a family tradition

For Will Sheffield, attending car shows and listening to his father, Darrell, tell stories about restoring old Ford trucks just confirmed that he, too, had caught the gearhead bug. Darrell often would talk to his son about the 1951 Ford pickup he rebuilt, and the 1972 Ford truck, as well, and Will soon became determined to find an old truck to work on himself. Will's grandfather broke the news that he was considering buying an old 60s model truck. Safety was the first priority, making the truck both ready to drive and a safe way for Will and his sister, Ashley, to learn to drive "3 on the tree." In addition to being regulars at the weekly Niftee Fiftees car shows, you also may see them frequenting the car hop stalls at Sonic in Cypresswood and in Tomball for festivals like Tomball Nights.
