Cincinnati right-hander Homer Bailey threw the seventh no-hitter in the majors in 2012 Friday night as the Reds blanked the Pirates, 1-0, at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. It was the first time since 1971 that the Pirates were held hitless, when Bob Gibson authored his only career no-hitter.
