WHAT a year this has been, summer a wash out but there have been some bright spells like the diamond jubilee and the wonderful Olympics and the Paralympics.
They gave everyone a lift from the problems in our daily lives, made us proud to fly the Union Flag, and declare we are British not European, and proud of it. Let's not forget it Mr Cameron.
Then back to reality. The EU is costing families around £6,000 a year.
When are you going to give us the referendum you promised Mr Cameron?
As for Mr Clegg he wants us to be more involved with EU. What a disaster that would be. Then there is the Labour Party with all its rhetoric, one Britain working together, as I recall it didn't do the country much good when it was in power. It opened the flood gates on immigration, we are now paying for that. The NHS struggling, not enough school places, not enough places for people to live. It spent tax payers money as though it was going out of fashion and worst of all they took us into a war, which our brave soldiers, sailors and airmen are still paying for with their lives.
The monetary cost must be phenomenal as well as the cost of war and the banks, that we baled out, still paying themselves fat bonuses.
It's no wonder the country is nearly on its knees. Now we have this £40 million tax payers' cash to pay for the transport blunder.
On Panorama Health Minister Anna Soubry looked nonplussed when she was asked about health tourists not paying for treatment and the NHS owed millions of pounds.
Who gives these people the job to run these services?
We have still got two and a half years left of this government, the country with its one million youth unemployed will be on its knees by then.
